  • Your comfort and safety are our priority from the moment you arrive. Your eyes will be gently shielded, and a cooling gel applied to the treatment area before we begin. The BBL HERO handpiece glides smoothly across the skin, delivering light energy in a steady, controlled motion. Most patients describe the sensation as a warm, slightly prickly feeling — and many are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the process is, even without a topical numbing agent. Depending on the size of the area being treated, sessions typically range from a few minutes to around 30 minutes.

  • There is minimal to no downtime with BBL Bare. You may notice mild redness or a gentle warmth in the treated area for up to an hour following your session, a normal and expected response that resolves quickly. Most patients step right back into their day without interruption. It will be important to avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks after the treatment (outside with SPF is safe).

  • Because hair follicles move through natural growth cycles, a series of treatments is needed to target each follicle during its active phase. Most patients experience significant hair reduction over the course of 3–6 sessions, spaced approximately 4–8 weeks apart. Annual or semi-annual maintenance treatments can be incorporated into your ongoing skin health plan to preserve your results long-term.
