Your comfort and safety are our priority from the moment you arrive. Your eyes will be gently shielded, and a cooling gel applied to the treatment area before we begin. The BBL HERO handpiece glides smoothly across the skin, delivering light energy in a steady, controlled motion. Most patients describe the sensation as a warm, slightly prickly feeling — and many are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the process is, even without a topical numbing agent. Depending on the size of the area being treated, sessions typically range from a few minutes to around 30 minutes.

There is minimal to no downtime with BBL Bare. You may notice mild redness or a gentle warmth in the treated area for up to an hour following your session, a normal and expected response that resolves quickly. Most patients step right back into their day without interruption. It will be important to avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks after the treatment (outside with SPF is safe).

Most patients experience significant hair reduction over the course of 3–6 sessions, spaced approximately 4–8 weeks apart.
